Villa Enafors takes inspiration from the traditional water mill house, which is logical to the steep slope of the terrain. All the main living area and the main terrace is on the entrance level with most beautiful views to the mountains 180° all around, while the sleeping rooms are planned on the lower level with large windows in front, with an access to the lower part of the plot.
The house has two parts which are functionally and visually different: the stone base and the wooden house on top. The roof in front and the back is extended to cover the entrance to the house in the north and the terrace in the south. It will also protect the living room from too much of direct sunlight during the midday.
